In re: Punjab, the BJP & my identity.

I reiterate - #Punjab is the ONLY state where I am pro BJP because our Hindu people are in a minority. Every minority has a right to support parties which represent them. It is for this reason that I have always supported Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi's politics. I am:
1. An Indian.
2. Then a Hindu.
3. Then a mix of Gujarati & Marathi.
My parents are Brahmins - but I do NOT identify as one - Caste means nothing to me - I do realize that I am caste privileged & therefore support existing & enhanced reservations for SCs/STs/OBCs.
 [On EWS reservations, I do not have any opinion as such. Will go with whatever governments & courts do/say.]

Let's not rush to condemn Sandeep Singh .
Everyone deserves a fair investigation - even the accused. In these dangerous times of "MeToo", tomorrow it could be any of us.
So don't jump to conclusions. Let the process play out.
Meanwhile some simple unsolicited advice to those who interact with women for/at work:
- Stick to work - avoid personal talk except inane things like the weather & quality of office food.
- Avoid being alone with them in enclosed places.
- Keep a contemporaneous record of anything controversial involving your work interactions with them. Just write it down & take a screenshot.
- Do not give or take lifts unless there are other people around.
- At office fraternity events, do not volunteer to get food or beverages from the bar/food counters for them. Serve yourself. This will ward off allegations of mixing stupefying substances with ulterior motives.
