In re: Aurangzeb et al

The Samajwadi party can benefit from praising Muslim rulers given the demographics of Uttar Pradesh.

They are always just a swing away from power given their Muslim-Yadav base.

The Indian Nation Congress does NOT have that luxury.

They need to be careful.

Note: While there isn't usually too much of an all India narrative on Muslim rulers, Hindu voters TEND to DISLIKE the Muslims who ruled over their local areas.

There's always some historical nawab, sultan, badshah etc who Hindus of the areas where they ruled dislike.

Personally: I don't have any issues with or interest in Muslim rulers. However that is not where average Hindus are as stated above.

In re: Linguistic Chauvinism

My fears for India's future:
1. Bankruptcy thanks to vacancy filling and pensions &
2. Hindu-Muslim conflict. (I am pro Hindu but messing with Muslims will ultimately harm us).
Linguistic issues won't have any impact.

Hindi is POWERFUL - even Pakistanis use Hindi words now. 

Muslims ultimately shall have SOME leverage due to demographics & the importance of the Islamic world. The BJP should see sense & sort things out to some extent.

These linguistic chauvinists from Tamil Nadu have ZERO leverage. Let them stew in their chauvinistic juice.

On the Hindu-Muslim issue, I oppose the BJP and shall continue to vote against them given their impractical approach.

However on the Hindi issue - I am aligned with them. I won't vote for them but will support them. Call me a limited भक्त, विश्वगुर, संघी whatever.
