In re: The Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami & India

A government in Bangladesh led by the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami CAN suit India. It's always easier to get a deal done with people who are clear about what they want. India's limited focus has to be on borders, security, trade & the rights of Hindus in Bangladesh.

If freedom of religion & security can be ensured for our people in Bangladesh, it will & should be none of our business if the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami   decides to establish a system of government & society in line with their religious views. Bangladeshi 'Seculars' shouldn't be trusted.

PS: Of course, I maintain that buying some border districts for Bangladeshi Hindus from Bangladesh in line with my earlier posts is the best long term solution. Wonder whether the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami would agree to something like that.
