In re: The horrific case from Pune

Two things stand out when it comes to the horrific case from Pune:
1. Hindu Society is broken to the extent that the question usually is not whether a woman has had an affair before marriage but the number of affairs that she has had - a matter of degree & not kinds.
2. Hindu men, in arranged marriages, tend to fall in love with women shortly after their engagements & begin tolerating and approving a wide variety of things. This often happens when the woman is more attractive & the man scores her only because of the family network.

This is a dangerous situation with no real solutions. 

Meanwhile the RSS et al are focussed on the wrong things.
