In re: The fire at the night club in Goa & similar incidents that keep taking place across India

The ONLY way to ty & ensure safety for most citizens & residents is to facilitate:

- compulsory acquisitions & redevelopment of private properties, one area at a time  - with fair compensation & transit rent AND
- handing over projects to big developers - not contractors masquerading as builders.

Yes - this will lead to supposed crony capitalism. However that's a lot better than the tragedies we witness time & again.

Apart from this, having gated residential & commercial complexes will also ensure more security.
