In re: Kannadiga nationalism.

I recently spent 8 nights in Bengaluru, a place which I had visited before. 

Going by a lot of what I see on social media, I decided to try & begin conversations with all classes of Kannadigas who I meet in English.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that over 80% of them either switched to Hindi after a while or responded in Hindi at the outset. 

Kannadiga nationalism will not succeed in the way that Tamil nationalism has & I am glad.

PS: I also could see that many outsiders from NON Hindi speaking states were interacting with locals in Hindi without any difficulties - Hindi being the link language.
