In re: India & the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation 

Indian governments, in the past would literally beg to become a part of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

That made no sense for a Hindu majority country like India.

The present government stopped seeking to join this body and focused on bilateral relations with Muslim countries.

India has excellent bilateral relations with most Muslim countries & that is how it should be.
