In re: Lt. General Faiz Hameed (retired)

Lt. General Faiz Hameed (retired) has NOT been convicted for any offences related to what happened in Afghanistan.

This has to do with misuse of his official position to enrich himself - the Pakistani system is oriented to ensure good lives for the members of the military establishment.

Brazenness beyond that is not tolerated - in this case non military elites suffered because of what Faiz Hameed did. It was obvious that he would have to pay a price so as to keep them happy & maintain the cozy club.

Whatever else may be said about him, Filed Marshall Asim Munir isn't seen as corrupt - in fact they say that Imran Khan fired him for daring to try & flag possible corruption in his family
