In re: The freak who thought I was a freak.

So recently I met a freak at a gathering which had mostly horrid food.

An Indian Premier League cricket match organized by the BCCI was playing on the TV at the venue of the gathering. Unfortunately I was sitting next to the freak and he suggested to me that some XYZ team was doing well. Now while I am absolutely disinterested in sports, I do tend to be aware of some aspects of sports because of them being a social phenomenon. However I intentionally gave a blank expression in response to ensure that he does not further discuss what he was likely to. He then asked me whether I watch the Indian Premier League suggesting that I did not. I confirmed that I do not.

Unfortunately it so happened that I was seated next to him. Over the next couple of hours he started discussing things related to the litigations that he is involved in. I understood what he was trying to do – getting information – something that businessmen often do at gatherings in Delhi. I kept things vague and resisted getting into details. Of course, I could do that because I wear many hats, litigation being a very small (smaller than small) part of what I do.

I can imagine how most pedantic litigators would have approached that freak – telling him about their professional connections, cases that they are involved him (referring to cases as matters) and eventually sharing their numbers – never to be called by him. As mentioned in an earlier post, Delhi businessmen tend to have multiple litigating lawyers in their contact lists because of the nature of Delhi’s social structure.

The only thing they would want from random lawyers they meet at gatherings is guaranteed relief via fixing – which 99% plus lawyers are incapable of.

PS: Next time I have to attend a gathering where this freak is going to likely be invited, I will do everything I can to ensure that I sit away from him. The host is a very rich & useful individual, so I would have to go even though he served horrid food last time around.

In re: Pakistan, Israel, Iran and the BOSS.

Unlike other Bharatiya peopleS I believe that Pakistan has done a great job in negotiations between the United States & the people in power in Iran.

However it's time for them to be firm with the Iranian side.

They should not keep testing Donald J. Trump's patience.

In re: Israel, India & Pakistan

As pointed out by prominent Pakistani commentator, Mr. Dan Qayyum, the Indian aspect of Pakistan's policy with respect to Israel is important.

I add: India's relationship with Israel will get stronger. The only anti Israel #Hindus you find are those aligned with Muslims electorally & small sections of liberals.

In re: Private Sector corruption

Service men for things like white goods tend to offer you their personal numbers promising cheaper services.

Most of you take their numbers.

I do as well.

In re: Pakistan and Israel

I do not see the Pakistanis recognising Israel without a final settlement in Palestine.

Anti Israel sentiment is a core principle of Pakistani nationhood.

Any decision to recognise Israel like this will uproot the Hybrid regime in a manner that Imran Khan & his people could not.

In re: Suggestion for the Government of India concerning the Delhi Gymkhana Club.

I am glad that these Delhi Gymkhana Club members who approached the Delhi High Court failed to get a stay of the notice issued by the Government of India.

However the procedure under the Public Premises Act will have to be followed. This procedure though faster than civil courts is time consuming.

I therefore have a suggestion for the government: Bring an ordinance for the Lutyens Zone giving the government extraordinary powers to acquire land on grounds of national security. Make the ordinance general rather than specific to the Delhi Gymkhana to prevent the courts from staying it.

In re: The Delhi Gymkhana Club

I am glad that the Government of India has initiated reentry proceedings with respect to the Delhi Gymkhana Club.

This should be done to all such Clubs. Such clubs are not just about imperialism – which I do not really have a problem with. They are actually about influence within a socialist society.

A better model is to buy land at commercial rates, build a club and sell memberships - that's what the free market demands.

I could have become a member of a similar club in Mumbai against a payment of a sum of money which we could have arranged - touch wood. I chose not to. One reason was that being a permanent resident of Delhi who rarely visits Mumbai, it made no sense to spend that much money. However it also did not appeal to my world view.

As far as the Delhi Gymkhana Club is concerned, I am not a member. However I have been there many times. The food is ordinary – less than ordinary. I do not consume alcohol - but I have seen that it is served in the same way as it is at low rent PSOI/CSOI type clubs. My visits to this club were essentially ordinary experiences.

I respect people who are members of places like the Taj Chambers and Belvedere at Oberoi properties rather than people who are members of such clubs. I cannot afford to be a member of the Taj Chambers and Belvedere unfortunately.

I know some people who are members both of places like Taj Chambers/Belvedere and clubs like the Delhi Gymkhana Club. Most of them hardly use their Delhi Gymkhana Club memberships except when they need to throw parties for low rent people who they do not wish to spend too much on OR when they need to book lawns/halls for their less prosperous contacts.

PS: My favorite people tend to be rich. If you think that makes me shallow - maybe I am. Screw you.

In re: Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari's move to make signing of Vande Mataram compulsory at Madrasas in West Bengal.

Mr. Adhikari should realize that Hindus will gain nothing from Muslims singing a song which is related to Hinduism. Hindus will gain by his focusing on issues like illegal immigration. 

Illegal immigrants who are not covered by the Citizenship Amendment Act have NO right to be in India, which is a Hindu majority country. 

However Muslim citizens of India should NOT be forced to sing songs like Vande Mataram that they feel do not align with their religion.

In re: NDTV, Godi Media & Godi Anchors

Adani controlled NDTV’s coverage is actually very fair except for the top 2 people in the country who it protects & the Adani Groups own corporate interests. Some anchors have left but most journalists have been retained. Anti BJP commentators appear on their panels every day. It is quite like the India Today group.

I would classify the Republic Group as the definition of ‘Godi Media’. Other groups such as News18 are also 'Godi Media' in different degrees.

Note: Specific anchors on channels run by India Today, ABP and NDTV maybe ‘Godi anchors’ but then such channels have some pro opposition anchors too.

PS: I do not like the Adani group – for my own reasons. It has got nothing to do with politics. However that will not prevent me from analyzing them fairly.

In re: How the government can get opposition parties on board to end the concept of permanent jobs without impacting reservations. 

The greatest national security threat to India is the consequence of permanent jobs which the central government and state governments irrespective of who is in power continue to hand out. No party wants to completely depart from this dangerous practice because it is politically inconvenient to do so.

While a single government job uplifts one family, it destroys a number a families by denying them state resources. Apart from that in this era of automation and artificial intelligence, more and more permanent employees will be in redundant roles. Governments will be literally bankrupted paying salaries and pensions. This will lead to economic disaster and social strife.

Every party of significance should come together to completely end the concept of permanent jobs in the future except in certain sensitive positions. Only contractual jobs should be offered in almost all cases. Of course reservation policies should apply to these contractual jobs in the same proportion as they apply to permanent ones. No citizen should feel that there is a move to end reservations. Obviously this should not impact serving and retired permanent employees. It should not even impact serving employees who joined service with the promise of regularization after completing a certain length of service. All this should be done by a constitutional amendment which contains safeguards.

To get opposition parties on board, they should be offered a national reconciliation framework by way of a constitutional amendment whereby all criminal cases except human body offences and income tax cases against their leaders and entities controlled by them are permanently closed. The number of people/entities who could benefit should be proportion to strength in Parliament and the choice as to who will benefit should be left to the parties. The amendment should clearly state that the opposition parties by no means admit guilt or wrongdoing by agreeing to this reconciliation framework & that they are doing it in national interest.

These constitutional amendments should be framed in a manner that the power of the constitutional courts to strike them down is taken away & for this purpose ratification of half the state assemblies should be obtained.

In re: The way forward for India

If India has to withstand the global crises to some extent it must:

• Allow the Indian rupee to fall to reflect its actual strength,
• Increase fuel prices in proportion to Brent Crude,
• Increase interest rates to curb inflationary pressures,
• Increase direct benefits to shield the poor &
• Align more with the United States.

In re: Annoying pedantic people

Litigating lawyers are the most annoying people to meet at social gatherings in Delhi.

Such lawyers see every businessman as a potential client - while there is nothing wrong with networking, the issue in India is that lawyers can charge irrespective of the result of cases. So 'growing together' isn't the motivation for these lawyers who wouldn't like any other system.

Interestingly those businessmen already tend to have MULTIPLE lawyers in their phonebooks because of the nature of Delhi's educational & power structure. They actually look for lawyers who can get them GUARANTEED orders from courts which 99% plus lawyers are INCAPABLE of arranging.

The worst is when such lawyers meet each other at such gatherings & start talking about what they said to which judge during a 'hearing' & how that he gave them 'relief'.

PS: One exception in my circle is a man from a prosperous family who is not active on X. Hint: He & I worked together as 'juniors' and he lives close to where I once lived.

In re: Destination Weddings

The Prime Minister recently advised Bharatiya peopleS to avoid destination weddings abroad.

While the reasons cited by him are legitimate, I have always been against the concept of destination weddings whether in India or abroad for the reason that irrespective of what one's economic level, it restricts the number of guests. People who you would have invited locally get to know & realize they are less important than others who they may also know - this happens even if you have some lower end 'function' locally.

It harms you socially & work wise.

PS: I am in favor of letting certain people who I dislike knowing that I dislike them & have often coordinated things to ensure that they get to know that. However destination weddings go beyond that & destroy tier 2/3 level relationships which one needs in life.

In re: The List released by the Uttar Pradesh state government promoting vegetarian dishes on a district wise basis.

The Uttar Pradesh state government has the right to release such a list. Politicians have to cater to motivations of the people who vote for them – in this case the delightfully lovely Vishwa-Gurus.

Practically, this list does not hurt anyone. For instance: I go to Kanpur Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh often. The dishes promoted for that District are – ‘samosas’, ‘laddoo’ and ‘malai makkhan’. Nobody is forcing any visitor to eat any of these dishes. I would obviously want to eat ‘samosas’ there but I am absolutely disinterested in eating ‘laddoos’ or ‘malai makkhan’.

What I really like eating in Kanpur Nagar are buffalo meat kebabs & the release of this list does not in any manner prevent me or anyone else from doing so.

I would obviously oppose unreasonable bans on meat consumption in Uttar Pradesh or anywhere else.

In re: My comments in a discussion about why India doesn’t have an evolved market for cheese in spite of being a large milk producer.

The reason for this is that Bharatiya peopleS prefer economical Amul & other Cooperative Society/State Corporation cheese. That makes sense that this is a developing country whose middle class goes through affordability crises at the best of times.

Elite Bharatiya peopleS do have access to artisanal cheese.

I do not trust it though - my mind goes to 'aanty ke haath ke’ germs given that these tend to smaller scale enterprises run by ladies.

PS: I know that cheese making requires microorganisms. I am not talking about them - I am talking about the microorganisms added when these lady owners and their helpers handle & package the cheese.

In re: The United States, Iran, Pakistan, West Bengal & Bharatiya peopleS

VishwaGurus are exhibiting desperation & denial when it comes to Pakistan's increasing relevance in world affairs. Similarly Seculars are exhibiting desperation & denial about the AITC's defeat in West Bengal.

VishwaGurus do not realize &/or refuse to realize that:

Pakistan’s increasing relevance as seen in the present conflict between the United States and Iran comes inter alia from:
- Location, Location, Location.
- The Biradar Mulk concept
- General multi-decadal loyalty to the United States &
- PRAGMATISM.
VishwaGurus further do not realize &/or refuse to realize that India cannot counter the above inter alia because:
- It does not have that location.
- It is not a Muslim country &
- It has not been in sync with the United States whether thanks to the non-aligned nonsense post 1947 or this VishwaGuru nonsense now.

Now let me come to Seculars. Seculars do not realize &/or refuse to realize that the All India Trinamool Congress’ defeat in West Bengal had got nothing to do with some Muslims voting for other parties OR the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision. The Bharatiya Janata Party won because of Hindu consolidation. The AITC had lost the Hindu vote even in 2021. Only an idiot could have imagined that they would not do even better with Hindus in 2026.  

Essentially most Bharatiya peopleS are freaks.

I admire and respect:
- Corruption, where quality and service delivery are not impacted
- Breaking rules & getting away with it where innocents are not harmed.

I dislike equality because it is against the course of nature.
I prefer fairness. The difference between equality and fairness is that if Mr. Singh is on the      highway, he will eat with his chauffeur at a restaurant.
In my case, the chauffeur will sit at a separate table & I will tell the waiter to encourage him to eat whatever he wants & add it to my bill.
Regular Bharatiya peopleS are neither like me nor like Mr. Singh. They will leave their chauffeurs to their own devices.

In re: The results of the recent assembly elections & the way forward

I am not a voter or generally a supporter of the Bharatiya Janata Party. As mentioned repeatedly I find most of its supporters to be annoying.

However the Bharatiya Janata Party is now the natural party of governance in India. Sufficient pluralities of Hindus I meet ACROSS economic levels tend to be positively inclined to it.

Minorities can ultimately negotiate with the BJP/RSS through their own political parties and pressure groups. 

‘Secular’ parties have generally lost the plot & indeed secularism has no currency in today's India, assuming that it ever did.

The way forward is a Hindu preeminent society where minorities have complete freedom of religion – like a sufficiently democratic version of the United Arab Emirates.

In re: Bharatiya peopleS & their use of ‘Uncle’/’Aunty’

I do not mind people calling me uncle.
HOWEVER I prefer using 'Sir'/'Ma'am'/Ji etc when talking to older people. I find the use of 'uncle'/'aunty' to be cringe.
Examples of what's worse:

• Using 'ankal/anti' and indulging in further cringe worthy conversation while talking about friends - 'how 'ankal/anti' are so nice but their son is not.' &

• Praising ‘anti ke haath ka khana’
